Our Story
Zorax® Helmet was founded by two lifelong motorcycling enthusiasts, John Smith and Jane Doe. John and Jane met at a motocross event in the early 2000s and quickly bonded over their shared love of motorcycles. At the time, they were frustrated by the lack of comfortable, durable, and stylish riding gear available for purchase. Most motorcycle helmets on the market were bulky and uncomfortable, while most riding apparel lacked protective features and was geared solely towards men.
Seeing an opportunity in the market, John and Jane decided to launch their own motorcycle gear company catering specifically to the needs of the modern motorcyclist. In 2005, Zorax® Helmet was born. The name “Zorax” was inspired by their favorite childhood cartoon character, meant to evoke feelings of fun, freedom, and adventure.
John brought years of experience working in manufacturing and product design, while Jane leveraged her background in fashion and textiles. Together, they strived to create helmets and apparel that were protective and durable yet comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
In the early days, John and Jane started off selling their products at local motocross events and motorcycle rallies out of the back of their van. Word quickly spread among fellow riding enthusiasts about the quality and innovation behind the Zorax® brand, and they rapidly gained a loyal customer base.
Growth & Evolution
Over the past 15+ years, Zorax® Helmet has evolved from a small passion project into one of the leading motorcycle gear brands worldwide. As demand grew, we expanded our product catalog to offer a wider range of helmets, apparel, shoes, accessories, and parts catering to all types of motorcyclists.
In 2010, we opened our first brick-and-mortar retail storefront. Today, we have over 50 stores globally and a thriving ecommerce business. Our products are now sold by over 1000 retail partners worldwide. Behind the scenes, our headquarters in London houses our design team, while we partner with top manufacturers around the world for production.
